Hi. I'm Meike. Married, two kids, two bunnies, one dwarf hamster, two goldfish. Art Director / Production Manager at the Dutch division of Harlequin (one of the world's leading publishers of books for women) by trade. Utterly obsessed by dolls, books, knitting and PC games (currently: Guild Wars 2) the rest of my time.
My biggest passion at the moment is collecting asian ball jointed dolls (abjd or bjd for short). I've got quite a lot of them at home right now, ranging in size from tiny to SD:

Most of these dolls are made in South Korea, and that's where you buy them too, directly from the companies that manufacture them, although most of the bigger companies have dealers in the US and Europe for example too. For loads of info on these kinds of dolls, I recommend the following sites:

I've decided to let my Leekeworld Mabel go. She's been hybrided on an Asleep Eidolon double jointed body, wonderful resin match and great posing. Body & head were made in 2010. She has some yellowing on her arms and chest. Beautiful face-up by Viridian House. Included in the sale: head & body. (Eyes/clothes/wig NOT included.)

What nonsense is this - seems like DA ate my celebratory post about having nearly 500 watchers! Hmph!

That's all really. And the fact that my Ninodoll Shampoo head has arrived at the airport! Now it's just Customs that needs to be cleared, a fee that needs to be slapped on (and paid, sigh), and then my Dollstown Elf girl will be headless no more! :)
