Hi. I'm Meike. Married, two kids, two bunnies, one dwarf hamster, two goldfish. Production Manager / Art Director / Editor at the Dutch division of Harlequin (one of the world's leading publishers of books for women) by trade. Utterly obsessed by dolls, books, knitting and PC games (currently: Guild Wars 2) the rest of my time.

My biggest passion at the moment is collecting asian ball jointed dolls (abjd or bjd for short). I've got quite a lot of them at home right now, ranging in size from tiny to SD:

Most of these dolls are made in South Korea, and that's where you buy them too, directly from the companies that manufacture them, although most of the bigger companies have dealers in the US and Europe for example too. For loads of info on these kinds of dolls, I recommend the following sites:
